Pocket watches are not toys, they are mechanical timekeeping instruments, and if you fail to wind them properly, you can easily damage the fragile mechanisms inside. This pocket watch is great if you've always wondered what the secret is inside that makes it all work. The back is a fully open glass window giving you a viewing platform for the rotating dials inside. Special tip: To wind the watch properly, turn the crown 30-40 half turns clockwise. To set the time, pull the crown up and push it in when it's in place. This pocket watch displays the 12 o'clock time in Roman numerals. In the center of the dial, the time is displayed in 24-hour format in ordinary numbers. And three other smaller circular clocks surround the 24-hour clock, namely; Minutes, seconds and flip hours with sun and moon.
