Nice little light. Best Under Cabinet Lights

They were perfect for what I needed. I keep a betta fish in my fish themed powder room (yes if you look at the pictures I keep all my cookbooks there too as it's right next to my kitchen). The question was how to easily and inexpensively emphasize the beautiful color of the fish with aquariums that are not designed to be used with special lighting. I knew I needed some sort of wall or ceiling spotlight, but I didn't want to go crazy and hardwire something, so batteries were the best option. There are tons of options, but I was lucky that I stumbled upon what I needed on the first try. First, these lamps are not powerful at all, only around 75 lumens. Several reviews complain about their brightness, but it wasn't difficult to find out this information by reading the description and reviews. I didn't want something so bright it would blind my fish. I wouldn't recommend them for closet lighting, but they are sufficient to illuminate a specific object or piece of art that isn't too large. They're made out of cheap plastic, but can easily be mistaken for metal if you're not looking closely. I like that they have a small profile and they look pretty good. Most other rechargeable LED spotlights are clunky and pretty ugly, but of course the more powerful the light, the bigger the case needs to be to hold more batteries. Once installed, the light can be rotated and adjusted to the perfect angle. As with most battery powered devices, I'm sure the claimed battery life is much longer than it actually is, but I basically wanted them to show fish when I have company so I don't have to carry them around 24/7 . Changing batteries is easy as the main unit removes the wall mounted base. They are very easy to install with a few screws and a paper template or with velcro (all included). I decided to use screws to keep them from falling off and getting into the aquariums. They're not expensive, but they're definitely way more expensive than they're really worth, but then again, for what I wanted them for, I couldn't be happier. It gave me exactly the look I wanted.
