Everyone's dream bag

One of the best bags I've ever owned. If it were 8 months old it almost never leaves my back. It is designed for tall people, although the main strap is large. I'm 6ft 2" with a long torso and the strap was almost too big. although the perfect size. It is very secure and the strap sits in the right place on the shoulder and is perfectly balanced. I'm a park ranger and this bag can take a lot. I've been rock climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking and other things. I can comfortably pack 45 pounds in a bag and go hiking for 2-3 days without even feeling it. Now it has flaws, not much organization, could do with more pockets here and there, and the pocket under the main flap is basically useless for someone with big hands. I have longer items I don't need to catch. To solve the storage problem, I had the seamstress add molle straps to the inside of the lid, so I now stash my first aid kit, flashlight, and other small items that shouldn't be in the main compartment. . The water bottle pocket on the left fits snugly under a large diameter thermos. The molle pouch on the right is pretty much useless so the same seamstress who made the molle fabric cut out the bottom so I could put my 30-30 rod inside and then I bought some molle gun ammo holders and fastens them. the same bag because it has Molle straps on the side. I hope I don't scare people with this description because my work is specialized and I had to make some modifications. For the average person, this bag is perfect. Inside is a pocket that fits a 15" laptop and is large enough to hold many of a student's books.
