Molle straps on it are strong and it attaches very securely to my 5.11 body armor. It's a little deeper than I expected and my Yaesu FT-70D gets lost in it, so I cut out a piece of closed cell foam to take up extra space and positioned the radio so the buttons were flush with the top. It's great for baofeng with extended battery. There's plenty of room on the side for a 90° speaker/mic jack, and the fabric on the sides is flexible enough to work with the Yaesu's power and volume buttons. I took off a star for the cord closure system but there are a few loops to change it so that might help.
