The product itself looks great. Good quality with some weight. This is not a cheap Chinese imitation. The instructions say you should use thread lock, be sure to do it! Especially if it's happening on a jeep or any vehicle you'll be using off-road. The design is pretty straight forward. There is a narrow angle and a wide angle. If it doesn't fit one way, rotate it 90 degrees and it will either get smaller or larger to fit a 2.2-3 inch pipe. Depending on the size of the pipe you are installing it on, you may also need to use smaller or larger hardware. The issue I had was that this product does not fit the roll bar on JK/JKU (09-17) Jeeps, specifically our 2017 JK. In the product installation video I watched they installed an X-Clamp on a TJ and it fitted perfectly. The padding of the JK is too wide. I hated doing this but had to cut the gasket to install it. To do this, I simply unscrewed the fabric covering and used a paring knife to cut the area where I attached the clip. Very disappointing that they don't offer an option for JK roll bars. This product was 2 stars as I wanted our jeep to be as original as possible inside and I had to cut out part of the interior. Cut your JK/JKU's upholstery to fit and it's a great product. Again, follow the instructions and use thread lock! After all, it can contain pretty much everything you need, not just ambient lighting and antennas. I used it to install an LED light that bolted to a quick hitch in a remote location on our jeep. He's perfect for that!
