This isn't the cheapest lamp in the category, but it has some important features that other similar flashlights don't have. The diffuser is a great addition, smoothing out the light from all those LEDs. The device has a nice control panel that shows intensity, color temperature and estimated battery life. There is a "dial" that toggles between light intensity and color temperature settings. Very smart. The control panel is easy to read. The settings you select are saved when you save. The supplied mounting hardware works perfectly. Small ball head, hot shoe mount for on camera use and very sticky suction cup. almost too sticky. I've used it on glass and had a hard time removing it, even with a pull tab designed for this purpose. I'll use it for FaceTime/Zoom on my computer and as a handy on-camera light or off-camera light for close-ups of small subjects. I think I could get another block for the photo. Battery life should be very good if it matches the reading unless you need full intensity. For use on my computer I only use it 10-20% so I expect around 5 hours of battery life. However, you can connect it with the included cable and use it continuously when needed.
