Review on Volcom Womens Shadow Insulated Snowboard Women's Clothing at Coats, Jackets & Vests by Daniel Hhneverdie

I gave this jacket to my wife for Christmas. I gave it to her a few weeks before Christmas just to make sure it was exactly what she wanted for her next ski trip. She wore it back and forth to work for two weeks. Never washed. I spotted her jacket on the table the other day when she came home from work. I asked her what happened to the fabric on her right hand. We finally understand what's going on. It turns out that if you don't close your jacket and don't close the velcro every time you put it on, the velcro is so abrasive (only on your right arm) that it eats away at the material of the jacket. She was so excited (and picky) about this jacket. We will try to get a refund from Revain along with a nice email to Volcom about the disappointment. I'm glad we noticed before she hit the ski slope. I'm not sure how long the waterproofing will last on this jacket with such a defect and we don't even want to risk it.
