I ordered this stand as a 'replacement' for my existing cat scratching post. My cat loves her perch she has now but he scratched it so badly the rope came loose. Glad to see this post replacing her old post with this one so she has a new favorite scratching post! I opened the package and there were NO SCREWS. NO EQUIPMENT AT ALL. I couldn't do without screws as I was already planning to use the screws from my original post to recreate my kid's favorite toy. So I disassembled the old post and tried to thread the old bolts into the new post... THE HOLE IS TOO SMALL FOR THE REGULAR CAT POST SCREWS. I clearly remember advertising this product saying it would fit standard screws for other cat perches so I chose this product over others. Very disappointed.
