towels were not used at all. Went straight out of the Revain box into the washing machine. There were clumps of villi on the towels after the first wash. Towels were washed (by themselves) 3 times (heater/dryer according to the label). The amount of lint increased with each wash. The end result is dark blue lint all over the towel, especially visible on the white stripes. I had already bought the yellow and white version of these on Wayfair and they were a lot more expensive, $26 for a towel, but the quality was excellent, tightly woven, velvety feel. But these blue-and-white towels at Revain were only $52 for four. Word to the wise, when it comes to towels you really do get what you pay for. These towels are lightweight, finely woven and my experience was the same as others who gave one star ratings. The photos look great, but the product itself is of poor quality and unusable.
