This product was just what I needed to light up my sheet music. It wouldn't work for me if I attached it to the top edge of my plastic sheet holder because it pushed my sheet music forward. So I attached it to the right edge of my plastic bracket and then just bent the gooseneck of the lamp up and around. It works great to light up the leaves. I didn't take this photo with the lamp on because my digital phone camera looks like it's creating a spotlight, but it really isn't. The entire surface of the sheet of music lights up evenly. And you can control the brightness of the light of this lamp with so many settings. Click the plus or minus sign to increase or decrease the intensity. And conveniently, they offer the lamp to glow in three different shades for you to choose from. This lamp is amazing. The piston area is 9 inches in a wide band of 11 inches and is only three quarters of an inch deep. You must have a USB wall adapter, but it's easy and inexpensive to buy locally. I highly recommend this lamp. great quality, you can't ask for more. This product has helped me in not having to mount a lamp on the wall behind me to play the piano or having to mount a floor lamp next to the piano. Again, I highly recommend this product.
