Throat Coat tea quality control is terrible. The tea is so weak that with just over a cup of hot water it ends with a slight odor. I bought this tea because I have GERD and was hoping it would work but it doesn't. It didn't cover my neck at all like it should as it was very flimsy. I bought a sample box first and only one of the four bags was acceptable. The first bag was so good that I decided to buy this one. After buying these I tried the other three bags and they were very flimsy. I was hoping it was just a coincidence though, so I tried some of these packages and lo and behold, they were just as weak. I contacted the company and they apologized for their weak product. Of course they claim they will take care of it but given the answer I have my doubts. Also, the warning against licorice consumption does not seem to be as clear as it should be given the possible side effects. Convince yourself. I will look into other teas in the future but I sincerely hope that the company lives up to their claim that "quality matters" as that is clearly not the case at this time.
