Great simple product. Purchased this for our beach trip to Hawaii. It was super compact and light. It unfolded and covered a large space and the sand pockets on the sides made it easy to weigh it down when the winds got heavy. I know some reviewers mentioned you can feel the hot sand under it when on top and we can't say we experienced that at any point, but we also had our beach towels over to mark our area with our friends. Folding it up while windy is a bit challenging, so I rolled it up and waited till we got back to the hotel. Sand came right off. Condensation from our drinks splashed on the material but glided right off. Folding it back into its built-in pocket was intimidating at first, but you basically just keep folding it in half and it easily goes into its intended pocket. It did come with 4 metal stakes, but we didn't use them because we were fine filling the sides up with sand. One beach had a few rocks where we settled down, but the material did not tear. Surprisingly good value for the price. Should have some longevity with this one.
