Packaging is excellent, assembly is easy, no factory smell. It seems soft, even too soft. One of my "big" cats slipped but I think it was just that she was overweight lol. The only real problem I have with the product is that the boards should be stronger when I put it together I think? The purpose of this is so my cats can "jump from end to end". and the way it's built I don't feel like even the smallest cats are immune to jumping. Which confirmed my point as 2 boards came off my wall and 2 of my cats fell. You need to buy your own screws. LONG! It ripped my wall off so I had to go to the Home Depot to fix the holes and put it back up, but now that it's fixed my cats just LOVE it! I couldn't wait for this thing in the mail lol.
