Review on ๐ฅ Mishimoto MMTS-VET-14 Racing Low Temp Thermostat: Compatible with Chevrolet Silverado 2014-2018 โ Enhanced Engine Cooling Performance by Neil Bodell
It fails, but only the thermostat I've seen drops the temp.
This is my second thermostat from this brand, the first one failed after 3-4 months. The second thermostat did not open and close, judging by the photo. Would give it 1 star but only the thermostat to really bring the temp down. I've tried Jet and Summit with no temperature drop. 210 plus both failed. The Summit brand has endured the longest and now has to stay. Hoping that after a year Mishimoto would have solved the problems, he didn't look very good. I would go stock but the 5.3 turbo gets a little warm and the heat kills.
