I like the really good suction and grip when my original Garmin mount keeps falling. I mount the base on the car and remove the GPS for security when not in use. The Texan summer was getting hot and I went to the car to find that the spring loaded parts had exploded and the plastic stock had cracked from stress and presumably heat. So it's great, but unfortunately it can't take the heat and stress. So very disappointed. Update: I thought about ordering another one because I really liked how it worked, but I was afraid it would break just as well. I'm a do-it-yourselfer so I spent an hour in the shop working on a new stem which I bolted to what was left of the base and repaired. We'll see because I replaced the weak part, but you don't have to spend an hour or two reworking the product.
