Review on Furinno Turn-N-Tube No Tools Entertainment TV Stands: Convenient Beech/White Design by Donna Armstrong

This thing is ridiculously light

I wanted a cheap TV stand I just got it so I got this one. What I received was lighter and more fragile than I expected. The kid could take this thing with one hand and swing it with ease. However, this is at odds with his ability to do his job. Once assembled it's stiff enough that I trust it enough to hold my TV and home electronics, but I suspect it would warp or break if I leaned on or sat on it. But for a cheap TV stand "I need it now"? It does the job. Plus it doesn't look bad for what it is! There are a few obvious seams on the posts, but they're easy to hide and harmless. They're not rough or jagged, and they're not the worst. Chipboard laminate actually looks better than I expected for the price. Putting it together was intimidating at first, as you had to contend with a dozen different plastic racks and a bunch of seemingly random boards. However, due to the symmetry of the design, this is not difficult to understand. And the lightness of materials means one person can easily assemble it on their own. No tools are required, and if you become familiar with LEGO brand brick toys, you can figure this thing out too. In general, this is not bad. It's not great and I don't think I'd have high hopes it would survive the move if it wasn't treated with care, but if you just want something to hold a TV with a few side spaces for a set-top too place box or game console or something.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Some flaws
