An item like this is priceless (right at your fingertips and easy to use) when you need it. and their hinges feel "tight" rather than sloppy, and are pretty sturdy too. So overall I would say it's good value for money. . He survived several pairs of glasses (which wore out, broke in half from wear on the central pivot, or were simply lost). If you feel the same way, reconsider your purchase: 1) The fact is, vinyl is ("leather-looking?") and will obviously crack early in its life. 2) The button on the case is of poor quality and will likely break off or not stay closed after a while. 3) And the strap loop on the case is secured with thick thread - fine, but it will certainly rip the vinyl, allowing the case to detach and disappear. a small plastic shell inside that prevents the case from deforming and won't crush your glasses. I only wish that more attention (and quality) was paid to the material of the case and clasp. Oh, and I would have preferred a spring loaded belt clip as some manufacturers have added similar items - so they can be removed without removing the belt from the two loops. I would pay significantly more for these features without complaining.
