The part that reports humidity is a bit uncertain at lower humidity. My house got very dry last winter and I bought these along with a humidifier. About 10 minutes after powering up, three of the four were in sync to be within 2 degrees and a 5% humidity difference of each other. That's what the manufacturer says, that's the range they can vary (if you want something more precise, you also need something more powerful and therefore more expensive). Fourth, even though his temperature was within 2 degrees, his humidity reading was always 10% or more lower than the others. Now we're talking less than 20% max humidity. Over time I noticed that as the house got less dry (due to my humidifier running) the 4th was now fluctuating between 7-10%. Thinking I'd just had a leech taken from me, I put it in a room I didn't care much about the humidity. Well, this summer, when the humidity climbed above 50%, I found that his humidity indicator "caught up" with the rest. So they're less accurate at lower humidity levels, although that's consistent with my understanding of how these things work. I really wish they had a light, maybe something like a watch where you press a button and the screen lights up. It's definitely not a big deal; It's just that sometimes when I wake up at night I want to check the temperature or humidity. All in all it was a good buy.
