FYI: This is a preliminary rating that I will update later when we drink the second bottle. very similar to a 'your mileage may vary' type product: She is a 15 year old terrier mix and started slowing steadily / showing signs of cognitive dysfunction about 16 months ago. In addition to her progressive arthritis and deteriorating eyesight, she began doing things like walking on the wrong side of the door, pacing back and forth, and worst of all, she forgot her homework. The weirdest (and most annoying) thing is that she waited outside her whole walk, only to go inside the apartment to use the bathroom. In the last 9 months, everyone's quality of life has deteriorated dramatically. Running around at night getting stuck under furniture/tipping things over meant we tried to lock her up at night, but then in the morning she stopped waiting for us and started wreaking havoc on her cage and by default herself (by giving her living room solved that problem, but then a constant supply of urine pads was required). I recently found a blog mentioning this product - no claims were made, just mentioned as an 'option' which piqued my curiosity. I'm cynical and don't believe in crazy sounding drugs, but after reading the reviews here and elsewhere I figured there wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I read another review here that mentions Purina's Bright Mind dog food which seems too good to be true but I did a little more research and concluded that the cost of this food compares to the money would be a drop in the ocean. that I spent. on urine pads and paper towels in the last 1.5 years. I started giving her both in mid-April. Senilife was on a week hiatus when we were supposed to get it for a trip and they forgot to take a pill. But otherwise she took it daily along with a bowl of the dry food mentioned. After about 10 days I noticed that she no longer wandered around the corner and could follow me - she used to stand there and watch, couldn't find me as soon as I turned the corner. I read a lot of negative reviews so I thought it was probably a coincidence. However, I can say that after introducing it to a full bottle. it seems like something has changed. Not big. But easy. What used to be 0% brain activity is now 10%. She still doesn't pee outside, but she poops when I take her outside, she never did before. As I said, she understands Winkel again. She's a little quieter and I don't hear her rushing and running around the fenced compound at night. But the remarkable thing is that when I come home she seems to recognize me again - she saw through me. Now she sees me and comes over to greet me. She's even wagged her tail a few times in the past week - I haven't seen that in months. preferred, and it's good for her sensitive stomach) and will let you know if everything is still the same or if anything has improved at all. Of course, I didn't go into this expecting any major changes or my old dog's return, and I don't think anyone else should. But even these small changes I noticed pleasantly surprised me.
