I used these to replace 194 bulbs in a Trailblazer and an Envoy XL. The physical size of the lamp makes it difficult to install and they cannot be used directly in some applications. It looks like the base where the pins are located is wider than the original bulbs. I didn't have a caliper to check the actual width. The size of the lamp itself is too large for some applications and does not allow the use of some original equipment such as B. Reflectors for map lights. They are lighter than normal. Original, which was the main reason for their exchange. They also produce cooler white light, which was another reason to replace them. (It kinda makes me feel like I'm driving a newer car, not one that's 15 years old.) They're dimmer if you use Map Light mode instead of Dome Light mode. (Dome light means when you open the door; map light means you turn on a light by pressing the lens.) This is actually almost an advantage for me, simply because it's not that bright that the driver's view is blocked during the journey is impaired and with the light card. In map light mode, they may be dimmer than the original bulbs. (That difference in brightness is only seen in the design or circuitry of these particular cars, but that's my experience.) So far, every bulb I've installed has worked as long as I get the polarity right, and I've used about a third of them . Package update after 9 months. Now I'm rather disappointed because the light bulbs keep burning out. Sometimes they can't even last two weeks. Maybe it's the tension my Trailblazer puts on the headlights. The ones in Envoy seem to last longer.
