We really liked this product, the material of the real bag has a canvas-like texture that easily brushes off any dirt or grime from travel and stays focused as long as it fits properly on your dog. We easily fit 3 days of dog food for our hikes (he supports his own weight without water) in his own pockets along with his bowls. BUT after 3 trips and less than 5 months after our purchase, the collars broke. out of the bag and has now left the bag unwearable. I think if it is to be labeled as a dog camping and travel backpack it needs to have strength or the weakest stitching at the weak points of the bag to be labeled as such. If we spent more time with it I would be more understanding but as it didn't have a long life I am writing this review. It's a nice looking bag and generally comfortable, but unless your dog likes running around in the bushes and outside, or you're willing to pay for a new bag every third adventure, I'd look for something beefed up.
