My brother-in-law installed a cat door last weekend. He had already installed cat doors in his house and it was more difficult than it should be. The directions were terrible. Other cat doors came with sticker templates that this one doesn't have. This shows that you need to trace the inside of the cat door to cut the hole, but this doesn't account for the width of the door itself, which made the process take a lot longer. I'd recommend spending a little more money on something to save yourself the headache of installing it. Also, the locks don't seem to work very well. They are a bit stiff and don't want to slip.
