The door was easy to assemble. Especially with picture instructions. Loved the fact that the frame could be easily cut with a simple hacksaw to securely fit the depth of a custom door or frame thickness. My two adult cats cannot open the door. I've tried setting it up but it doesn't work. Finally got the door supported from the inside but still looks nice. Maybe my cats are just whores! Rzhunimagu!

It works. I have it on the inner door of my bedroom. Both of my cats are fine with it. Only 2 small problems on my part. You must have the perfect door position to install the locks properly. Not very practical, like simple rotary knobs. My older cat figured out how to lift the door to get out, even when it's locked to get out, it comes out. Very easy installation, just need to adjust the lock better.

My brother-in-law installed a cat door last weekend. He had already installed cat doors in his house and it was more difficult than it should be. The directions were terrible. Other cat doors came with sticker templates that this one doesn't have. This shows that you need to trace the inside of the cat door to cut the hole, but this doesn't account for the width of the door itself, which made the process take a lot longer. I'd recommend spending a little more money on something to save yourself

This pet door has a built in liner. You simply cut a hole and assemble the two halves. An integrated liner seals the door between the halves. I installed a foam core metal garage door and replaced the included screws with small nuts and bolts. UPDATE: The locking elements on the door are very small and simple, smart kitties like mine will figure out how to manipulate the door by opening it with their claws. At first I wanted to order a second door, but then decided on another model with a sliding leaf lock. A good cat flap for the price. The guy has moved and brought his cat with him. We were looking for a way to keep the bedroom door closed at night but still allow the cat in and out.
