According to my chiropractor I had multiple herniated discs in my neck after a car accident and this neck pillow has helped me the most other than my chiropractor. I've used electrical stimulation, a tennis ball, a rolled up towel, and massage in the past, so nothing beats that combination. Although I know this is not a cure for my pain, I can feel a difference in my neck and shoulders. It was a bit uncomfortable at first but this pillow is firm with the right contour and will keep its shape after a few days of use. I've used double balls as instructed in one of their videos, on one side where I experience pain and numbness when riding, and because the balls aren't too hard I've been able to release tension in my neck. My headaches go away every time I first use a peanut ball and then lay on this effective pillow.
