The accessory resulted in the loss of a $400 camera and after 5+ HOURS in 2 days with the GoPro they refused to help in any way on the matter. Of course I sent the 'handler' back to Amazon for a refund but GoPro only offered me 25% to replace the camera I bought just 30 days ago. However, I paid $299 for a promotion they are still offering and was expecting 25% off the price I paid which would make sense. Also, I had to exchange overnight for an additional $25 shipping fee. GOPRO TOLD ME THEIR 25% OFFER ON MRC ONLY WHICH WAS $399. So in the end they expected me to pay even more than I originally paid for a camera replacement due to a faulty OFFICIAL GoPro accessory. HORRIBLE COMPANY. And it's a waste of my time even trying to reason with them and be fair. If you look at the previous version of this accessory, the camera mount screwed right into the handle. Much safer than this slider in the newly revised version for HERO8, which many customers have proven to be flawed in many ways. I recommend you to buy unofficial GoPro products and not to buy through GoPro as they are not responsible for their products if their accessories fail. So now I'm going to pay double what I originally did to fix the problem so my son can actually get his birthday present. GoPro should be ashamed. Note: The mount camera was attached to another accessory that could also be used by attaching it to the windshield of the boat. It survived a quick 10-minute boat ride during filming with no problems, proving once again that the mount was securely attached to the camera and that Floaty Handler was responsible for the loss. facts and does not value the honesty of its customers.
