Review on Coitak 72 Colors Fibre Wool Yarn Roving: Needle Felting & Spinning Craft Materials by Amanda Castillo

Much better than I expected!

I bought this as it seemed like an inexpensive way to try mixing many fiber colors without investing in more expensive fiber types. I was so amazed at how beautiful the colors are and how well prepared they were to make spinning very easy. Once it has a preference, using the drop down spindle is a real pleasure. I don't know what kind of wool that is. Haven't tried it on a wheel as I'm working on small patterns for tiny tapestries. This would be a great collection for beginners (very handy on the spindle) and for advanced spinners to economically develop designs, weights and colors. Each small pouch contains enough fibers to spin medium to fine yarns. Thick or crimped yarn will result in a shorter length. This could probably result in a small amount of stray texture for small wall hangings. I am very happy! Update: I shot these colors by myself and hand mixed them slightly, I had no problems. I tried to completely shuffle the motes with the cards and found the mount to be very short. Therefore, turning was much more difficult. Newbies, don't try. Stick to the basic twist and swim to mix. It's still a good deal.
