I needed a short USB-C extension cable for a newly purchased mechanical keyboard that I wanted to carry to and from work daily so I wouldn't overuse it and possibly break it would make usb keyboard connector. These short extensions have been a near-perfect solution so far. They provide a pleasant "click" when connecting the main cable, and the metal wrapping ensures that they do not wear out. Note: Due to the sheathing, they cannot be bent sharply, and the plug + strain relief is just over an inch long, so if you're using e.g. Run the cable through some sort of keyboard cable management device from the side, you probably won't succeed. It was a limitation I could live with. I don't know how many cycles they can be rated for but if this one fails at any point in the next few months I'll come back to subtract a few stars and use the 2nd in the pack while I find a spare. If you don't get a reply from me, hopefully that means I'm still happy to use the original.
