Can't rate durability as I just received it. But from the looks of it, I think it will last a long time. Funny, when I was looking for a large soup pot, this product popped up in the "You Might Like This" section. I thought it was an amazing but simple solution. I put my cast iron cookware on a stove that I wasn't using. not the best place. But it was convenient - the dishes are heavy and I didn't want to drag them out of the cupboard under the hob every time. So I ordered it and am very glad I did. Cast iron cookware stores much better on this shelf than on the stovetop. I am almost certain that in a few years I will be as happy as I am today.
