Review on 🍳 Duxtop 8500ST E210C2: Portable Induction Cooktop with Timer, Sensor Touch, and 1800W Countertop Burner by Tom Roberts

Was looking for an induction cooker for my balcony. I live in a high-rise building, bbq's are not allowed on the balcony, but the rules don't say anything about cooking outdoors; only without open fire. To get around this, use an induction stovetop, which can reach very high temperatures, and a durable cast iron skillet. As you can see in reviews of other products, some stoves shut down due to excessive heat. We fry steaks over high heat. We had no problems disconnecting the device. We have a high-end Samsung induction hob and we know what to expect from an induction hob. This burner works. In addition, it is easy to clean. The top is completely flat so a little cleaner/degreaser and a few cloths and this guy is ready to get back in the box. Speaking of the box, I wish there was a handle on the end of the device. We put it back in the box after each use. We don't go outside. It would be a lot easier to get it out of the box. One tip I've learned about induction cooktops when using cast iron is to place a piece of parchment paper under the cast iron. This protects your hob from scratches. Additionally, if you plan to shake any type of pan, use parchment paper. My first induction cooker, I didn't know this tip and our hob got a lot of scratches. The paper turns brown but does not burn. Remember that the hob does not heat up; Tip when using this stove, especially when using cast iron. After cooking, remove the cookware from the stove. There are cooling fans on the hotplate that run until the device reaches a touchable temperature. When you boil a pot, especially a cast iron pot, the fans need to be running for an extended period of time. Or you could damage the device if you unplug the device before it has completely cooled down. All in all, this is a very good product at a very reasonable price. It's attractive, well made, high quality and works as expected.
