Fully compatible. I was impressed by how similar it looks to an Apple branded charger. I needed one because my old one was basically a fire hazard, but I needed one that plugged into my power strip to make the charger last longer. This charger has the same mount and works very well as a filler. The cord is a bit shorter than the Apple charger, but that didn't matter with the extension cord I already use. Would definitely buy again!
