Review on Blocking Protection Eyestrain Lightweight Eyeglasses Vision Care by Nailah Mejia

Works well but looks cheap

They work as regular reading glasses and blue light blocking computer glasses, but if you're using them on a computer you'll want them dimmer than normal readers, since the monitor is usually farther away than you are holding the book. If you're using them as tablet or phone readers, chances are you're good at your regular reading performance. The strength of 1.0 in my case is weak enough to be perfect for the distance to my computer monitor (I usually wear stronger readers). So I can wear them during normal work at my desk and everything is clearer and less tiring for my eyes. However, the blue filtering is just above average efficiency between the best pair I have and the worst pair I've tried. The total width from the edge of the lens to the edge of the lens is about 120mm, so they are too narrow for a wider face than usual. The overall width of the frame is only 135mm, so even medium-sized people can feel cramped. They're fairly tight and unforgiving, with no springs in the hinges. Similar in size and overall feel to cheap discount readers, but they have a blue electronic screen reader blocking filter, which is effective. Basically, you get cheap blue-blocking readers at the price of cheap readers.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
