At the time of writing this article, I've had the monitor for about a week. Let me give you a quick list of the pros and cons of my brief usage: Pros: G-SYNC compatibility is SO a great feature; 144Hz is life changing in terms of FPS and other competitive games; excellent brightness without backlight; ultra-easy assembly without tools; an intuitive menu that's honestly quite easy to use. Cons: The monitor is very tall even on the lowest settings (I've used two Acer R240HY monitors before, another monitor that I highly recommend) and doesn't quite match my second monitor; text looks a bit grainy, but that's what you get with a 27-inch 1080p monitor, so it's actually less of a complaint and more like "make sure you know what you're getting into" ; the brightness sometimes seems overdone (more of a nitpick because I suffer from chronic migraines, but lower settings don't bother me); This thing is heavier than I thought so make sure your table is sturdy enough; I wish it had a remote control, but I'm just too lazy (I use it for both my PC and the switcher to make switching inputs easier); Speakers would be nice, but they're not a necessity, especially considering all the other features you get at this price point. I haven't used HDR yet, so I can't comment on that. I really feel like LG has hit the mark in this price range. A great monitor that you can't go wrong with for €300.
