I have just received the wallet and was very disappointed to find the smell coming from the whole box of goodies I received from Revain coming out of the wallet. This is a bit reminiscent of leather tanning; and definitely love chemistry. This is not a light scent, but a stunning one. I was wrong thinking that I could use a leather cleaner and remove at least most of the smell. no It didn't happen and now of course I can't return it. After reading about the options online I think I'll put it up somewhere for it to air in the next 2, 4, 6(?) months. It's not expensive enough to justify dry cleaning, which cleaners say gets rid of the odor, but costs the same as the purchase price. So my quick fix reflex stopped me from doing that.
