I have used this several times to seal some letters and I have some notes. First, I've never used a sealing-wax spoon (I've always used chopsticks in the past). I don't know of any good method to clean wax. I still only use one color though, so leaving a nice puck there isn't a problem for me. Also, this is a pack of three, so I have two other spoons for two different colors if I so desire. Second, I've found that with small hexagonal pieces of wax, it takes about four to get a nice big print. Results may vary. Third, it takes a minute or two to get a good melt, especially if you're melting multiple pieces of wax. A stand would be handy. Other than that, these spoons are pretty solid. They are glued together from wood and metal.
