A cheap alternative when the compressor is still running
Does the job perfectly. If your air conditioner is running but the clutch is slipping, this is an inexpensive alternative to replacing the entire compressor. Just go to your local auto parts store and rent an AC clutch puller and then install it. The system does not need to be drained. Be sure to take the time to get the freeplay/clutch spacing right (not difficult, but just get it right). I would buy this again.
