These lamps are not very good but I bought them on sale. If you think they're the most economical choice then go for it, but all feedback on connectivity issues and returns are not anomalies. If you're having trouble connecting the bulb to your WiFi, try disconnecting your mobile data before doing anything. still. Close the app, or better yet, uninstall it, forget about all wifi networks due to lightbulbs etc. You can even delete your account from the settings menu and re-register to really start fresh. I couldn't connect any lightbulbs to my Wi-Fi network until I turned off mobile data and then all 3 connected back-to-back with no issues. I've only had one Android phone (currently a Pixel 2 XL) and have had trouble connecting other 'smart' devices, so I don't know if the same applies to the iPhone. However, my first recommendation is to choose the best brand with the best support.
