I'm sorry I bought this electric massager item

Edited Review: After using this product for a while, I was glad it worked well and I didn't have any pain in my arm. BUT now the area where I plug in the charging cable (jack) seems to be damaged and I can no longer connect my USB charger to it. I think this element is poorly designed. Difficult to properly hold and connect the cable at the same time. ***** This product is a lot bigger than I expected but luckily it's lightweight so I can put it on my lap and use it while watching TV. It runs on a rechargeable battery, which is nice. However, the area where you connect the cable is recessed. I have osteoarthritis in my right thumb. Being right-handed, I find it difficult to insert the cable without flinching in pain. Bad design IMHO. Also, you only get one charging cable. You do NOT get an electrical plug - a thing that plugs into the wall. I used our digital camera charging cable and power plug and it works perfectly. The user manual was written by someone whose native language is not English. Example: "This product is not waterproof. Don't submerge it in water." The manual has a lot of warnings and cautions, but it doesn't tell you exactly where to put your hand. There are small bulges and protrusions on the inside that I believe are guides. However, given the size of the item, it would be helpful to have a chart showing which bulge or edge to place the palm, fingers, and palm on. I'll take care of that in time. I like the heating and vibrating features, but they had little effect the first time I used them. I'm still trying to figure out the massage programs. At first I was startled when the device clamped my arm in a vise. Good thing the instructions say to turn off the device and don't pull your hand out .The inner fabric gives off an odor which hopefully will dissipate over time. The first time I used it my hand stank.D he smell went away after I scrubbed my hand thoroughly. You have to spend more time using it. I hope that works. Not doing so is quite expensive.

Pros
  • Relax your hands and wrists and fully extend your fingers to promote relaxation and relieve pain from repetitive stress disorder due to prolonged computer work
Cons
  • Would have chosen a newer model can
