I've had this watch for years lightly but not consistently. And it worked great. I've never connected any other music device to it, but the radio worked great with the alarm clock. The only downside to this model now is that it still automatically changes the time to the old DST rules from a few years ago when they changed it. It's fine, so twice a year you'll have to manually adjust the time. My color changes are currently not working as they haven't been used for about the last year and I need to add batteries for backup. Maybe then the color would work, it was worth buying anyway as long as it worked perfectly.
