Review on 🎧 Enhanced Noise-Canceling Headphones by Sony MDRNC13 by Lori Sanders

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good/good then broke so bad

Works quite well but there are some annoying features: - The cable from earphone to clip is not long enough. I'm 5'11" and can barely get it on my belt. If I sit up or lean back a little, the left earbud rips out. - The inverted Y-connector makes the cord awkward to coil up. - Gusts of wind got me the headphones blown out of my ears. They stick out too far. Both ends of the cable going into the battery area have cuts in the internal wires. When the headphones started to fail, I opened up the case and tried to figure out why. It seems that "if you apply the slightest torque to the main wires you will rub the bare ends against the circuit board. This will eventually cut the wires or break the solder joint. A dab of hot glue can prevent this. I would recommend anyone buying this to seal the case to open and harden those connections. It only took 5 months before the wires started to fail. 6 months to complete failure :( On the plus side: + The noise isolation was enough for me, to travel by plane and bus. I rarely use the active noise cancellation. + Nobody hears what you hear. I hate headphones/earphones that emit noise to everyone else. , so you don't have to worry about charging or the built-in battery failing.+ The electronics housing is easy to open (Unscrew the two screws inside the battery compartment, and then slide the clip together with the side panel.)
