. I've been using superfine silver and gold pens to sign my paintings for years. The point of gold pens has always lasted much longer than silver pens, but silver pens still had value. However, the super-fine tip only holds a few signatures and then behaves like a fine or medium pen. Much wider stroke and unsuitable for me. Gold pins serve for a very long time. Find a replacement from another company.
