Although the bulbs themselves are very nice - the cord and plug are terrible. To get the light where I want it I have to use the entire extension piece, which would be fine if the plug didn't stick out that far from the socket. The plug that also controls the lights is a box that sticks out 4 or 5 inches from the outlet, then the cord also goes about 1 inch into the box, and then it sticks out too. We were planning on using this with our smart plug, but it's already sticking out of the wall by about an inch or so, so it just won't work. (The plug is terrible with or without the extra cable). I had to take them off immediately because I was afraid someone (or a dog) would trip and half throw them away and break them or something. (I also tried an extension and it was even bigger at the time, it looked awful) I'm surprised none of the reviews I've read have mentioned the fork being that big.
