I made the mistake of buying 3rd party filters for the Neato D3 connected. They were clogged with hair from the inside so I used 3 filters in less than a week. Then I got wiser and bought Neato ultra-efficient filters, which are much more expensive but work much better. After our first few runs, the filter looks like new after I cleaned it. It also has a sturdier construction and durable screen - unlike other filters I've bought. Don't buy cheap or convenience, choose Neato for your Neato vacuum. There really is no comparison between fake "high performance" filters and Neato filters - Neato wins by a mile. The photo on the left is a fake "high performance" filter after 2 passes. You can see pet hair getting stuck in the filter making it impossible for it to work. In the second photo, the Neato filter is still clean and ready to use after 4 passes, this time I didn't even blow it.
