I have tried other products like this one but this one is the best when it comes to motion detection. He felt when I was next to him and caught fire very quickly. According to the instructions, the distance to the sensor is 3-5 meters, so this is a really good sensor. I was very impressed because I have had products from other companies in the past that I had to wave my hand to turn on a few times. This problem did not occur with this product. The charger also really impressed me. Didn't take as long as I thought. Also, there was a bright green light to show when it was done (red while charging). This product also has three modes. One mode is always on, one mode disables the motion sensor during the day, and one mode has the motion sensor active all the time. I have it on Auto2 so the motion sensor works day and night. Also, this lantern is so thin that it won't take up space if you attach it with tape. It comes with a built in magnet that can be attached to a surface to hold the light in place. I'm really impressed that thin light can be so powerful in its lumens.
