After reading many reviews of 'poor quality' and 'delivered damaged' (even for similar items at a higher price), I didn't. I don't really hope the table arrives safe and sound. But the seller seems to have learned from previous reviews that the table was shrink-wrapped, all four edges wrapped in styrofoam corner protectors, additional protective packaging, and the smaller box was placed inside the larger box. The table arrived here in a safe and brand new condition. The legs feel sturdy and the surface is good enough that I didn't even need a mouse pad. I'm very happy that my small home office is now complete so my laptop won't burn my feet during the 12-14 hour shifts. Table as shown * Dog not included; O)
