At first I was excited because my cat is old and has arthritis and the door was low so I thought it would be perfect. The problem was that the sides don't fit snugly to the base, allowing urine to seep between the walls and base onto the floor. It was very messy to clean as the filler was really stuck to the white plastic base. I was moving and thought it would be easy to assemble and disassemble for travel, but it wasn't at all. It had to be washed and dried every morning. I threw it away once we settled in and bought a neat Cat Breeze tray and it fits the bill perfectly. No mess and so easy to clean
