A decent bag that didn't get punctured when I pressed my finger against the plastic could be a different story with sharps. It fit perfectly in my Slim Jim, but when I threw in a pile of trash, the bag got stuck in the bottom profile of the trash can and fell in. After picking up the spilled debris, I lifted the edges of the bag and found that the protrusion was only 1 inch, which didn't reach the bag holders on the Slim Jim and didn't sit on the sloping edge of the trash can. Slim Jim is a 23 gallon can, but these bags won't fit.
