2012 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew - For the last 4-5 years I have had the stock head unit (Pioner AVH-X5700BHS), four door speakers (Infinity Kappa 682.11cf) and two tweeters . I had intermittent intermittent loss of sound (bumps, corners, windows down, etc.) as well as a longer loss that resulted in no sound on the driver's side. When installing a 10" subwoofer down, I decided to replace the two front jacks on the truck side with these WPT-984. So far so good, looks like all intermittent issues have been fixed. The forums said this is a known issue. but it took me so long to find the right keywords that led me to a replacement. I'm so glad I finally have a great sound!
