The smell is pleasant, watery.
Very natural lavender scent. I would have liked a little softer for the child, but overall it's ok. Very watery and comes out of the tube FAST. Small things have a big impact. Not sticky which is nice and my baby's skin is very soft after using it. I love that it's EWG certified! Left one and gave the other to a friend.
