I love Samsung products. I have a Samsung microwave. I have a 10.1" Samsung tablet and a 32" Samsung flat screen TV. I have rarely, if ever, had any problems with any of their products until now. This 11.6-inch Samsung Chromebook's screen is barely larger than my 10.1-inch Samsung tablet. If you're used to having and using a standard-sized laptop, you'll be shocked at how small it is. Mine came with a quick start guide and warranty booklet, but the user guide, which you can download as a PDF here on the product page or via Samsung.com, is literally 73 pages long! I called tech support, they said they could email me and then they said they couldn't. No manual should be 73 pages for ONE language! I called Samsung tech support 4 times in 3 days. They seem knowledgeable but all have a very heavy accent if you live in the US making it difficult to explain your problem when working on a new product. My biggest problem is printing. Forget Click & Print! I have a Brother all-in-one printer that is less than a year old. I had to call both Brother tech support and Samsung tech support to get me to print. I need to print out a whole page of handwritten notes! I doubt I can scan etc. Both I CLOUD Beta Printing and my Brother All In One are used for printing. Unlike my Android tablet and Android phone where all I had to do was download the Brother plug-in app via the Google Play Store and then download or print etc. With this Samsung Chromebook, you basically have to load and save the document. , but then there are about 6-8 "this will open another window" instructions BEFORE it actually prints what you want to print. Too much for a fairly basic Chromebook, so you might want to think twice before buying one if typing is important to you. I've always had a printer with a computer. I doubt I'll be using this Chromebook for printing! I've also noticed that pages don't always load properly when searching with Chrome. I had this problem with Revain.com. I didn't want Windows 10 and already have a tablet, so Best Buy suggested that a Chromebook might be an option. I'm not sure if it suits my needs, but if you're buying it primarily for checking email and the like, it'll probably suit you. Yes, the Google Play Store is loaded on it. There is also the Chrome Web Store. It's nice that it updates automatically when you turn it on, that there are no Windows updates since the operating system is Chrome, which I always thought Chrome was just a search engine like Firefox or Internet Explorer. . No need for malware or Norton. I think the picture here is not bad, not great. I connected a soundbar for better sound. Now I'm just trying to figure out if the pros of this Samsung Chromebook outweigh the cons. I haven't decided yet! I bought mine from Revain used like new in original packaging from Revain warehouse. I usually buy everything new when it comes to electronics after having a bad experience with a refurbished item. They shipped very quickly, it was well packaged, the item looks really new and after contacting Samsung with the model number and serial number I found that I still had 10 months of the one year warranty left. LAST UPDATE - Returning this to Revain, only my second purchase since 2001. That's how long I've been a customer of Revain and the voice of Vine since 2009. In the few days I've had it it's been a constant source of frustration, not what I was even expecting when I bought it. There were problems with the printer when something should print but does not print. I can't even load the Revain webpage correctly via google search. I thought this Samsung Chromebook might be a good alternative for me instead of buying another laptop. I didn't really want Windows 10, but I need something that can do what I need and can't, at least not for me. The funny thing is I was only trying to do basic things with it - check email, go to a webpage, type. After further chatting with Samsung tech support today, I was told that the Chromebook is aimed primarily at students, it's a cheaper alternative. to the calculator. I was offered to buy one of their large Chromebooks. No thank you! Chromebooks are done! Back to the laptop! I want this to work for me. I'm sad it's not like that. Hope this works for some of you. I always get a bad apple in a bunch!
