Review on 🧦 Owlet Dream Sock Plus Baby Monitor - Mint: Ensuring Peaceful Sleep for Your Baby by Maria Marshall

Not good value for smart monitors

We ordered this after spending some time in the hospital with our newborn. At the hospital she was hooked up to O2 satellite and heart rate monitors and we were nervous about going home without monitors. We found an owl dream sock that (somewhat misleadingly) advertises these qualities. I understand that owlet devices offered these features before the 2022 FDA warning, but instead of being honest that they need to be removed (as a non-medical device), owlet implies that if they don't, they're still available to do. Heart rate is tracked but averaged every 10 minutes and we found the sock to not read/move/bug properly at every 10 minute interval and then the average heart rate is useless. The dream sock also does not control O2 on average. Even without these features, the sock leaves a lot to be desired. It is very inconsistent in terms of placement on the leg. If it's too loose or in the wrong position at all, it won't read correctly. Not worth for the price.
